or

Q: My dog barks and pulls at other dogs when I walk him, what kind of training do I need?
A:
Get your dog in a problem solving workshop or private training session first to get his barking and leash aggression under control, then continue with either private or put him in a group class to teach him how to heel so he's not pulling you down the street. My Adult/Basic Obedience class covers leash pulling!
Q: Should I worry about my dog gaining weight while training with treats?
A:
No, most puppies are very active and burn more than their fair share of calories per day. I suggest wheat free, human grade treats for your pets. The higher quality the treat the bigger response you will get from your dog. For adult dogs you can consider cutting out a 1/4 cup of kibble a day for large dogs or equivalent for small dogs.
Q: Can my whole family attend the class?
A:
Yes, the whole family is encouraged to come to class. You can make training a fun game for kids. Kids should be seated during class. With the instructors approval your child can handle the dog in class. Children should not walk dogs into or out of class.
Q: Why should I choose private training?
A:
Private training is available for two reasons, either for convience in scheduling or for dogs with problems such as barking, aggression, potty training emergencies, jumping, etc.
